Bull Run Barbell

LOVE THE BARBELL? WE DO TOO!

Workouts are 60-minutes long and each consists of strength & metabolic work. Bull Run Barbell designs and structures our exercise programming to yield the greatest results over time. Since many of the movements in this format require consistent exposure and practice it’s not unusual to expect mastery to come only after months of repetition and adaptation.

This sounds a lot like CrossFit … is it? No. CrossFit is rooted in preparing for “the unknown” with regard to its intent and execution of their programming with a skew towards lifting as much as you can as fast as you can. We’ve found this style of training to be contradictory to achieving and maintaining optimal wellness long-term – particularly so with aging athletes, athletes with prior injuries, and athletes with movement limitations.

Programming for Bull Run Barbell is designed to elicit an outcome. Our model shifts the strength or metabolic focus quarterly with the outcomes matching increases in strength, torque, power, endurance, and aerobic capacity. We leverage sheer volume, time under tension, and variable rest intervals to get you in the best shape of your life in an environment that is obsessive about progressing you safely through your journey while maximizing your potential.

Some of the movements in Bull Run Barbell do require consistent training and frequent exposure to master. This is definitely a program to invest your heart and mind into if you’re looking for long-term results. You can expect to reach new heights in strength and conditioning with this program.
